I would describe my work as very natural, photojournalistic, and intimate. I long for photographs that create feelings rather than shots that are 'cool' or 'instagram-worthy.' I consider myself very untraditional but sassy at the same time. I love light, I love kisses all of the face, I love quiet moments and intimacy.
You can expect between 50-100 images per hour. My typical delivery for weddings in 600-1200 photos. All images are edited and you get them via a private online gallery link with a password that you will set. You have that link for 1 year. I strongly encourage you to back up your photos in 2-3 places for safe keeping.
Yes!! I try my best to get out a sneak peak gallery to you within 72 hours of your wedding day.

Nope! I don't send any un-edited/raw files! most of the magic happens during the editing process, so without that step your photos are only halfway done!
This is up to you, but I totally recommend one for a few reasons! First, my style of photography works best when we've gotten to know each other. an engagement sesh is the perfect time for us to hang out & spend time together before your day! it's also a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera, and practice makes perfect. it's totally natural to feel a little bit nervous/awkward when you're not used to having your photo taken, but your engagement session will make you two pros by the time the wedding rolls around!
Yes 100% will help you with that. I love to help bring the day to life when we create the timeline. I will also help you with family shot lists as well!
A first look is the best thing you can do for your wedding day to make it less stressful. It’s an opportunity to see your lover before you go down the aisle. It gives us the opportunity to knock out all of the bridal party photos, family photos, and of course more photos of you two BEFORE the ceremony. That means time for you to enjoy your friends and family during cocktail hour as well as a far less stressful day.
For sessions, we decide on location and what best fits your needs, I'll send you a contract at which your signature is needed as well as 50% retainer.
For weddings, once we have a call, I send you a contract at which I need your signature on it and then a $1000 retainer.
Yes I definitely travel. I actually travel for about 80% of my work. Its where I get most of my inspiration. New locations, new textures, new people, new colors. I love it all.

Amanda is SUCH a gem and we are so glad we found her!! Her first message to us was so kind and genuine. She was very clear about the type of photographer she is which is someone who is looking to capture real moments of the day rather than curated content that is stiff and posed which is what we were looking for on our wedding day. I felt so at ease with her during the our first call and knew immediately that she was the one.
We never met up prior to the wedding day in person to discuss vision or direction but the moment that she arrived in the hotel room for getting ready pictures already felt like she was one of the girls. She meshed so well with my whole party and it just felt like another friend in the room rather than a photographer in the room which made for much better pictures. She has this calming energy about her that is exactly what you want for the wedding day.
I felt uncomfortable taking pictures by myself since it wasn't something I was used to and Amanda noticed that. She called in my girls to hype me up and made me feel so much more comfortable. I loved that she kept encouraging my fiance and I to feel the moment rather than trying to think about creating the perfect moment for her to capture. She gave me some tips of things that would photograph better like hand positioning but otherwise she just wanted us to be present with each other on our wedding day. BOY was she right because our sneak peeks are absolutely amazing. She captured our love and moments together just perfectly. Don't even get me started about the pictures she took of us walking through the city and around Petco Park after the ceremony. They are just STUNNING with the evening city lights.
